Inspired by the Ancient Greeks, this silver Torso Brooch is made using traditional casting techniques. Each piece uses sand with a high clay content to form a mold using an existing SKD torso sculpture. Two metal halves are then filled with the sand and the original piece is placed between them to form an impression of the original piece. Once the mold is complete, molten metal is poured into the cavity to create this brooch.
